Read this article on the Indian Rowing team to the Beijing olympics. Reigning "Asian Champion" Bajrang Lal Thakar, also a member of the Indian team, says he's not hopeful of winning a medal at the Olympics. My question is, If he doesn't believe he can win, what's the point of taking part in the olympics? What a waste of tax payers/sponsor's money. BTW, the article can be found here.
