Turns out, the fireworks at the opening ceremony of the Beijing olylpics was a computer generated special effects for a visual treat and not real fireworks going on! Commies!
Also, the kid who sang the "Ode to the motherland" ballad didn't actually sing. Another kid which apparently was not "cute enough' sang and the kid under the spotlight lip synched a la Britney Spears style!
What a fake! I just hope atleast the medals are real atleast!
